IEYDA Launches Online Membership Platform to Boost Transparency, Community Development
Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA), under the auspices of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, has officially launched an online financial membership platform aimed at enhancing transparency, accountability, and active participation among its members.
In a statement jointly signed the National President, Alh. Mohammed Uthman Jagunmo, explain that this digital platform is designed to modernize the Association’s financial operations and ensure greater openness in its management system. It further explained that the platform enables members to conveniently register, remit their monthly dues, and access financial records online, thereby promoting accountability and institutional trust.
Speaking on this digital initiative, the National President, Alh. Jagunmo stated that financial members are expected to commit to a monthly contribution of N5,000. The funds collected will directly support community driven initiatives and long term developmental projects aimed at improving the social and economic well being of Ilorin Emirate.
He further explained that the key areas of this intervention include empowerment support for the less privileged, water and environmental development projects, assistance programmes for widows, Artisans and vulnerable groups, education and moral support initiatives, as well as community awareness and orientation programmes.
Alhaji Jagunmo emphasized that the monthly contribution is a sustained commitment to collective growth and sustainable development rather than a one off gesture. He therefore called on members, as well as sons and daughters of Ilorin Emirate at home and diaspora, to register on the platform and remit their dues consistently as a show of support for community development and shared progress.
