Barcelona set to seal permanent deal for Marcus Rashford
Barcelona are set to make Marcus Rashford’s stay at the Camp Nou permanent, with reports indicating the club is ready to activate the €30 million buy option in his loan deal from Manchester United.
The move would see the England international sign a three-year contract, keeping him in La Liga beyond the current season.
Rashford joined Barcelona on loan at the start of the campaign and has quickly become an important part of the squad. His pace, versatility and attacking threat have strengthened Barcelona’s frontline, winning praise from both fans and the club’s hierarchy.
The 28-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season, recording 23 goal contributions in 33 appearances across all competitions. His form has played a key role in Barcelona’s push for success both domestically and in Europe.
Sources close to the club say talks are already at an advanced stage, with Barcelona hoping to conclude the agreement before the summer transfer window.
Rashford spent most of his career at Manchester United before the loan move, and a permanent switch to Barcelona would mark a new chapter in his career. He also previously had a stint at Aston Villa.
