PSG beat Bayern Munich to Reach Champions League Final Against Arsenal

Paris Saint-Germain have booked their place in the UEFA Champions League final after a dramatic 6–5 aggregate victory over Bayern Munich in Wednesday’s semi-final clash.

Despite a tense second leg at the Allianz Arena, PSG held on to their narrow first-leg advantage to eliminate the German giants and move one step closer to retaining their crown in the UEFA Champions League.

The visitors struck early through Ousmane Dembélé, who finished clinically in the third minute after a low delivery from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The French forward, who had also impressed in the first leg, gave PSG the perfect start to protect their aggregate lead.

The match was not without controversy, as Bayern protested two key refereeing decisions, including a VAR-reviewed handball incident involving João Neves that went unpunished, and a potential second yellow card situation for Nuno Mendes.

Bayern improved after the break, with chances falling to Jamal Musiala, Michael Olise, and Harry Kane. However, PSG’s defence held firm, supported by key saves, as Manuel Neuer kept the scoreline respectable for the hosts.

Harry Kane eventually pulled one back deep into stoppage time with his 14th Champions League goal of the season, but it was not enough to force extra time.

The result sends PSG into yet another Champions League final—one of three in the club’s history, all achieved within the last seven years.

They will now face Arsenal in the final scheduled for May 30 at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary, in what promises to be a high-stakes showdown for European glory.
