Adeleke, Supporters Will Cry After Saturday’s Osun Election – Oyetola

Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, has declared that Governor Ademola Adeleke and his supporters will “cry” after Saturday’s governorship election in the state.

Oyetola, who is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), made the remarks on Thursday while addressing supporters at the party’s mega rally in Osogbo, the state capital.

The former governor, who lost his bid for a second term to Adeleke in the 2022 governorship election, urged residents to vote for the APC candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, in Saturday’s poll.

Oyetola called on eligible voters, particularly those who recently attained voting age, to take their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to their respective polling units and vote for the APC.

He said the APC had demonstrated its strength through the large turnout at its rally, while urging party supporters to remain committed to the election.

“Voting on Saturday is a must for all of us. For those who have come of voting age, please ensure that you take your card to the polling unit and look for the insignia of the broom,” Oyetola said.

He further urged voters to thumbprint the APC symbol on the ballot paper, expressing confidence that the party would emerge victorious.

“By God’s grace, we will all laugh this coming Saturday. We will laugh while they will cry when we finish voting on Saturday,” he added.
