Baze university records outstanding performance in NUC accreditation exercise
Baze University has recorded an outstanding performance in the National Universities Commission (NUC) October/November 2025 Comprehensive Accreditation Exercise, with all academic programmes presented for evaluation securing full accreditation status.
The achievement reflects the University’s sustained commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, institutional stability, and the provision of globally competitive university education.
Programmes that secured full accreditation include Human Anatomy, Mass Communication, Software Engineering, Building, Estate Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Microbiology, as well as Sociology and Anthropology.
The outcome further underscores Baze University’s strategic investment in modern academic infrastructure, high-quality faculty, innovative teaching methods, research development, and continuous curriculum enhancement in line with global best practices.
Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Abiodun Adeniyi, expressed confidence in the institution’s capacity to sustain and expand its culture of excellence, citing the steadfast support and visionary leadership of the Board of Trustees under the Chairmanship of Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed, PhD, FSAN.
Professor Adeniyi noted that the Board’s commitment has continued to strengthen the University’s drive toward innovation, academic competitiveness, and global relevance.
The University described the accreditation outcome as a major milestone that further reinforces its reputation as one of Nigeria’s leading private universities committed to producing highly skilled graduates capable of meeting national and international demands.
Management also expressed appreciation to the National Universities Commission for sustaining rigorous quality assurance processes within the Nigerian university system, while reaffirming Baze University’s resolve to continue setting benchmarks in higher education across Nigeria and beyond.
