Tinubu Celebrates Shettima at 60, Hails Vice-President as Loyal Partner

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Vice-President Kashim Shettima on his 60th birthday, describing him as a trusted and loyal partner in the administration.

In a statement personally signed by the President, Tinubu praised Shettima for his dedication to Nigeria’s progress, unity and development.

Tinubu, who described Shettima as a brother and partner in leading the country, congratulated him on attaining the milestone and extended his best wishes to his wife, Nana, children, family members and political associates.

The President said Shettima’s career in banking and his tenure as governor of Borno State demonstrated courage, diligence, compassion and a strong commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians.

He also commended the Vice-President for his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), support for the administration and commitment to the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to Tinubu, Shettima has also provided purposeful leadership as Chairman of the National Economic Council by coordinating economic policies and promoting collaboration between the federal and state governments.

He noted that the Vice-President’s respect for constitutional governance, democratic institutions, dialogue and consultation had contributed to strengthening good governance in the country.

“As a trusted partner, his loyalty, wisdom and sense of duty have remained invaluable to the administration,” Tinubu said.

The President expressed appreciation to Shettima for his steadfast support and partnership, saying both leaders would continue working together to deliver the promises of the Renewed Hope Agenda to Nigerians.

Tinubu wished the Vice-President many more years of good health, wisdom and continued service to the nation.
