Hon. Tijani Kayode Ismail Takes Early Lead in APC Reps Primary

The member representing Offa/Oyun/Ifelodun Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Tijani Kayode Ismail, has taken an early lead in the ongoing All Progressives Congress primary election for the federal constituency.

Results emerging from some of the voting areas showed that Hon. Tijani Kayode Ismail is leading other aspirants as party members continue the voting and collation process.

Supporters of the lawmaker were seen celebrating at the venue of the exercise following the announcement of early results, expressing optimism that he would eventually secure the party’s ticket for the forthcoming general election.

Party officials, however, stated that the exercise was still ongoing as collation of results from remaining areas continued at the time of filing this report.

The APC primary election is expected to determine the party’s candidate for the Offa/Oyun/Ifelodun Federal Constituency seat ahead of the next general election.
