BREAKING: Ajakaye declares for Kwara reps seat

Rafiu Ajakaye, the Chief Press Secretary to the Kwara State Governor, has formally declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat for Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ajakaye made the announcement in a short video message following what he described as extensive consultations with party members, stakeholders, and community leaders across the constituency.

According to him, the decision to join the race was driven by the encouragement and support received from key political actors and grassroots leaders within the constituency.

He pledged to deliver purposeful and people-oriented representation if elected, while calling on party faithful and constituents to support his aspiration.

Ajakaye, who holds a PhD, emphasized his commitment to contributing meaningfully to legislative development and advancing the interests of the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency.
