Hon. Moshood Bakare Joins Igosun Muslim Faithful for Jumu’ah Prayers, Welcomes APC Defectors into PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kwara South Senatorial Candidate, Prince Saheed Popola, alongside Hon. Moshood Bakare, the party’s candidate for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, joined Muslim faithful for Jumu’ah prayers at the Igosun Central Mosque.

The two candidates received a warm welcome from the mosque’s leadership and members of the local community, reflecting the occasion’s spirit of fellowship and community engagement.

Following the prayers, Prince Saheed Popola and Hon. Moshood Bakare interacted with residents and community stakeholders on issues affecting the people, including grassroots development and the need for sustained engagement with local communities across Kwara South.

The visit also featured the formal reception of members defecting from the All Progressives Congress (APC) into the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), marking another development in the party’s engagement with political stakeholders in the area.
