The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released a revised timetable and schedule of activities ahead of the 2027 general elections, outlining key dates for its internal processes, including screening, primaries, and appeals.

In a statement issued on Monday and signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, and confirmed by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party said the adjustments align with relevant electoral guidelines.

According to the APC, the timetable complies with the 1999 Constitution (as amended), the Electoral Act 2026, and the schedule released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The party stated that the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms will take place from April 25 to May 2, 2026, while submission of completed forms will close on May 4.

Screening of aspirants across various positions — including State Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, governorship, and presidential categories — is scheduled for May 6 to May 9. Appeals arising from the screening of State Assembly and House of Representatives aspirants will be heard between May 12 and May 13.

Primary elections are set to commence on May 15, beginning with the House of Representatives, and will proceed through the Senate, State Houses of Assembly, and governorship contests, before concluding with the presidential primary on May 23.

The APC also announced the fees for its nomination process. Aspirants for State Houses of Assembly are to pay ₦1 million for Expression of Interest and ₦5 million for Nomination forms. House of Representatives aspirants will pay ₦1 million and ₦9 million respectively, while Senate aspirants are to pay ₦3 million and ₦17 million.

Governorship aspirants are required to pay ₦10 million for Expression of Interest and ₦40 million for Nomination, while presidential hopefuls will pay ₦30 million and ₦70 million respectively.

The party added that female aspirants, youths, and persons with disabilities will benefit from concessions, paying only the Expression of Interest fee and 50 per cent of the Nomination fee.

It further directed that all payments be made into designated accounts with Union Bank, UBA, and Zenith Bank.
