Osimhen Responds to Arsenal Transfer Speculation After Galatasaray Brace

Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has refused to rule out a potential move away from Galatasaray amid reports linking him with a transfer to Arsenal.

Osimhen scored twice for Galatasaray on Friday night, but his efforts were not enough to secure victory as the Turkish champions were held to a 2-2 draw at home by newly promoted Corum FK in their opening Super Lig fixture of the season.

Following the disappointing result, the Nigerian striker went over to the Galatasaray supporters behind the goal and apologised for the team’s performance.

Osimhen’s future at the club has continued to attract speculation, with Arsenal reportedly exploring the possibility of signing the 27-year-old forward.

Asked about the reports linking him with the Premier League club, Osimhen said transfer rumours were normal during the window.

“There are always rumours during the transfer windows. I will focus on my responsibilities. My focus is on my work. We will see and consider what lies ahead then,” he said.

Despite the speculation, Osimhen indicated that he remains committed to Galatasaray and will continue to give his best for the club while his future is being decided.
