NASS Primary Results Will Be Announced In Abuja – APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said official announcements and briefings on the results of the ongoing National Assembly primary elections will be conducted exclusively in Abuja.

The directive was contained in a memo dated May 17, 2026, and signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, H.E. Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR, addressed to all chairmen of the National Assembly Primary Election Committees.

According to the party, established procedures have been put in place for the collation and announcement of results arising from the primaries.

The APC explained that the process would involve ward collation, Local Government Area (LGA) collation, designated constituency collation centres, and eventual submission of reports to the party’s national headquarters.

The ruling party further directed that no committee should conduct media briefings within their states of assignment, stressing that any official briefing, where necessary, would only take place in Abuja after all results have been submitted.
