Kwara Central Senator celebrates Yusuf Ali at 70, hails legal Icon’s service to Ilorin Emirate, Kwara, Nigeria
The Turaki of Ilorin and Senator representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has congratulated the First Kuliya of Ilorin Emirate and renowned legal practitioner, Professor Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN, on the occasion of his 70th birthday anniversary.
Senator Mustapha described Professor Ola Olu Ali as an exceptional legal luminary, philanthropist and community leader whose life of service and sacrifice has continued to make a remarkable impact on the Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
In a personally signed congratulatory message released by his Media Aide, Nasif Sholagberu, Senator Mustapha said the celebrant’s seven decades of life represented a remarkable journey defined by excellence, integrity, generosity and commitment to humanity .
According to him, Professor Yusuf Ali is “a blessing to Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria,” noting that his contributions over the years have extended far beyond the legal profession to encompass education, healthcare, human capital development, community advancement and philanthropy.
Senator Mustapha particularly commended the legal icon for consistently deploying his resources, influence and expertise to uplift the lives of the less privileged and contribute to the development of his immediate community.
He said: “Professor Yusuf Olaolu Ali is not only an accomplished legal practitioner of national and international repute; he is also a distinguished traditional title holder of Ilorin Emirate whose commitment to the progress and wellbeing of our people remains worthy of commendation.
“His contributions to education, healthcare, human capital development and community services, as well as his numerous philanthropic interventions, have touched many lives and continue to inspire younger generations.”
He noted that the celebrant’s attainment of the age of 70 was not merely a personal milestone but an opportunity for the people of Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria to celebrate a life that has been devoted substantially to service and nation-building.
“Seventy years is a significant milestone, particularly when it is marked by a life of purpose, accomplishments and service to humanity. Professor Yusuf Ali has every reason to look back with gratitude to Almighty Allah for a life that has positively influenced countless individuals and communities,” Mustapha added.
The lawmaker also acknowledged Professor Ali’s longstanding contributions to the propagation of Islam, dating back to his active days in the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN).
Senator Mustapha prayed that Almighty Allaah would grant the legal icon many more years in good health, renewed strength and greater wisdom to continue his invaluable service to humanity.
