Jubilation in Alapa as Taofiq Olaitan Attends PDP Ward Meeting, Supports 2,000 Households

There was excitement in Alapa, Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State, on Tuesday as the founder of Top Notch Foundation, Alhaji Taofiq Olaitan Issa Daudu, attended the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ward meeting of Alapa/Onire/Odegiwa.

Party members, supporters and residents had gathered ahead of the meeting, with discussions focusing on issues affecting the community and strategies for strengthening the party ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The atmosphere became celebratory around 2pm when Alhaji Taofiq Olaitan arrived at the venue. Supporters welcomed the philanthropist with dancing and cheers, turning the gathering into a festive celebration.

Although Tuesday’s meeting marked his first attendance at the ward meeting, Alhaji Taofiq has maintained a relationship with members of the community through various interventions by his Top Notch Foundation.

Speaking during the event, several attendees acknowledged the foundation’s previous distribution of palliatives and cash support to residents, describing the interventions as beneficial to members of the community.

Addressing party members, Alhaji Taofiq urged them to remain united and committed to the PDP, charging them to work towards delivering all polling units in the ward to the party in the forthcoming elections.

He also provided cash support and donated food items to 2,000 households in the ward as part of his continued efforts to support vulnerable families and contribute to the welfare of residents.

The event ended on a high note, with party members expressing renewed enthusiasm and pledging to mobilise support for the PDP ahead of the forthcoming elections.
