ASKOMP to Hold Kwara 2027 Governorship Candidates’ Manifesto Discourse Friday

The Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) has announced plans to host a manifesto discourse for governorship candidates ahead of the 2027 Kwara State governorship election.

The engagement, scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026, will take place at Rotana Hotel, Fate, Ilorin, beginning at 3:00 p.m.

In a statement ahead of the event, ASKOMP emphasised the importance of participation by governorship candidates, their campaign teams and other invited stakeholders, describing the discourse as an opportunity for candidates to present their vision and policy direction for the state.

According to the association, each governorship candidate will be given 30 minutes to outline their proposed policies, programmes and interventions, as well as explain how they intend to address the needs and aspirations of the people if elected into office.

The association also urged invited participants to adhere to the established guidelines for the engagement to ensure a productive and orderly discourse.

The event is expected to provide a platform for constructive engagement on the future of Kwara State as political activities ahead of the 2027 governorship election gather momentum.
