APC Extends Deadline for Zonal Congress, National Convention Forms

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended the deadline for the sale and submission of nomination forms ahead of its forthcoming zonal congress and national convention.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, announced that forms will now be available for purchase and submission from March 12 to March 23, 2026.

He clarified that the extension does not affect the previously scheduled dates for the events. According to him, the zonal congress will take place on March 25, 2026, while the national convention is slated for March 26 and 27, 2026.

The party also disclosed a change of venue for the South-South zonal congress, which will now be held in Asaba.

Morka stated that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been formally notified of the adjustments in compliance with legal requirements. He urged party members and stakeholders to take note of the updates and adjust their plans accordingly.

Earlier in the month, the APC appointed Bello Masari to chair the national convention central coordination committee, replacing Hope Uzodimma.
