Tinubu Concludes Umrah Visit to Saudi Arabia, Offers Prayers for Nigeria
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has concluded his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he performed the lesser Hajj (Umrah) and, alongside members of his delegation, had the rare opportunity to enter the Holy Kaaba for prayers.
The President disclosed this in a statement following the conclusion of his visit, expressing gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, for the honour and warm hospitality extended to him and his delegation.
Tinubu described the gesture as a reflection of the enduring bonds of faith and friendship between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
During the spiritual exercise, the President said he offered prayers for peace, unity and prosperity in Nigeria, as well as the well-being of all Nigerians.
He also expressed appreciation for the gracious reception and brotherly care shown to him and members of his delegation throughout the visit.
