I Pull More Northern Votes Than Tambuwal, Kwankwaso, el-Rufai – Atiku

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has asserted that no northern political figure commands more votes in the region than he does.

He made this known during an interview on Arise TV’s Prime Time, where he questioned who among current northern leaders could match his electoral strength.

Atiku named key figures including Aminu Tambuwal, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and Nasir el-Rufai, maintaining that none of them has garnered as much support across the north as he has.

While acknowledging Kwankwaso’s strong political base in Kano, Atiku noted that the state is now politically divided, weakening the dominance of any single leader.

The former vice-president, who has contested the presidency multiple times, also disclosed that he would pursue a constitutional amendment to establish rotational presidency if elected in 2027.
