Tinubu is Nigeria’s worst president – Eedris Abdulkareem
Nigerian rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has once again criticised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as Nigeria’s worst president.
The artiste made the remarks during a recent performance in Edo State, where he faulted the administration’s handling of insecurity, particularly referencing the president’s visit to victims of the Jos attack. He questioned why the commander-in-chief, despite being accompanied by security personnel, was unable to enter the affected community to sympathise with victims.
Eedris also reacted to claims by Seyi Tinubu, who had described his father as the “best president ever.” The rapper argued that such an assessment should come from Nigerians, not a family member, insisting that the current administration has fallen short of expectations.
He further urged Nigerians not to remain silent amid the country’s challenges, calling on citizens to speak up about their experiences.
The outspoken artiste has a long history of criticising authorities. In 2024, he released Emilokan, where he called on Enoch Adeboye to be more vocal about governance issues.
In 2025, he dropped Tell Your Papa, a song directed at Seyi Tinubu, urging him to relay Nigerians’ hardships to his father. The track was later banned by the National Broadcasting Commission for allegedly violating the broadcasting code.
Eedris first made headlines with his 2004 hit Jaga Jaga, which was banned during the administration of Olusegun Obasanjo but later became an underground anthem.
