NYSC Fixes November 4 For 2026 Batch C Stream II Orientation
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced November 4, 2026, as the commencement date for the orientation course for members of the 2026 Batch C Stream II.
The orientation exercise will be held across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The NYSC made this known in a statement issued on Friday by its Director, Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.
According to the statement, the exercise will begin on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, with the registration of corps members scheduled to take place from the same day until midnight on Friday, November 6.
The statement said, “The Management of National Youth Service Corps has approved Wednesday, 4th November 2026 as the commencement date for the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream II Orientation Course.”
It added, “The Exercise will be conducted in all the 36 States and the FCT, Abuja.”
The NYSC further announced that the swearing-in ceremony for the new corps members would take place on Friday, November 6.
The statement read, “Registration of Corps Members will hold between Wednesday 4th and midnight of Friday 6th November.”
It also stated, “the Swearing-in Ceremony will take place on Friday 6th November 2026.”
The orientation programme will run for about three weeks before coming to an end on Tuesday, November 24, 2026.
The NYSC said the closing ceremony had been scheduled for that date as the final activity of the orientation exercise.
“Consequently, the Closing Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 24th November 2026,” the statement added.
