Music Power Couple Adekunle Gold and Simi Welcome Twins

Renowned Nigerian singer Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, and his wife, Simi, have joyfully welcomed twin babies.

The announcement was made by Adekunle Gold on his Snapchat story on Wednesday, where he wrote:
“Asked God for another child and He blessed me double.”

The gender of the twins has not been disclosed, but fans and fellow celebrities have already flooded the couple with congratulatory messages.

In December, Simi had shared a short clip on Instagram captioned, “From my baby, for my babies,” a teaser from Adekunle Gold’s latest music video, “My Love is the Same.” In the video, Simi appeared with a baby bump, giving fans an early hint of the couple’s growing family.

Adekunle Gold and Simi, who married in 2019 after years of friendship and musical collaboration, are regarded as one of Nigeria’s most celebrated music power couples. Both were formerly signed to X3M Music and have continued to make waves in the Nigerian music scene.

Their first child, Adejare Kosoko, affectionately called Deja, was born in May 2020.
