I’m open to reconciliation with Kwankwaso – Ganduje

Former APC National Chairman and ex-Kano Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has said he is open to reconciling with NNPP leader, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso.

In a BBC interview, Ganduje described Kwankwaso as a brother and long-time political ally, adding that as a Muslim, he cannot close the door to reconciliation.

His remarks follow the recent defection of Kano Governor Abba Yusuf from the NNPP to the APC. Ganduje emphasized that political differences have been set aside, and unity is needed to advance development in Kano State.

He also dismissed reports of a 60–40 power-sharing arrangement, saying no such agreement exists and that governance should focus on the welfare of the people.
