IEYDA Commends Abibakr As-Sidiq Philanthropic Home for Empowering Less-Privileged Nigerians

Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association IEYDA, under the auspices of His Royal Highness, Alh. (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, the Emir of Ilorin, has applauded the symbolic presentation of empowerment items to beneficiaries of the Transformative Skills and Livelihood Empowerment Programme for Less-Privileged Nigerians.

In a statement jointly signed by the National President, Alh. Mohammed Uthman Jagunmo, and the National Director of Publicity, Alh. Abdullahi Abdulfatahi Oloyin, described the initiative as a remarkable intervention that will improve livelihoods, promote self-reliance, and contribute to sustainable economic development.

The programme, organised by the King Salman Humanitarian and Relief Centre in partnership with the Abubakr As-Siddiq Philanthropic Home under the leadership of its President, As-Shaykh Abdulrazzaq Salman Sholagberu, was held at the Kwara State Banquet Hall, opposite Government House, Ilorin. Items presented to beneficiaries include: Motorcycles, Tricycles and Cargo tricycles

IEYDA highly appreciates As-Shaykh Abdulrazzaq Salman Sholagberu, describing him as one of the Ilorin Emirate’s most distinguished sons, an exceptional philanthropist, and a compassionate humanitarian whose unwavering commitment to empowering the less privileged continues to transform lives and bring pride to Ilorin Emirate. The Association also applauded Abubakr As-Siddiq Philanthropic Home and its dedication to sustainable community development through impactful humanitarian initiatives.

IEYDA commended the organisers for their commitment to uplifting vulnerable members of society and encouraged beneficiaries to make productive use of the items to improve their standard of living and positively impact their communities.

The Association prayed for Allah’s continued blessings upon the organisers and all partners, while calling on philanthropists, corporate organisations, development partners, and well-meaning Nigerians to emulate this noble initiative by investing in programmes that empower the less privileged, promote self-reliance, and foster sustainable community development across the country.
