Adeleke Heads To Abuja For APC 2027 Campaign Council Inauguration

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has travelled to Abuja ahead of the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.

Adeleke departed for the Federal Capital Territory on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, to attend the event, which is scheduled to take place at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.

A video circulating on social media platform X showed the governor walking alongside members of his protocol team towards a private jet believed to be conveying him to Abuja for the inauguration.

The event is expected to mark the formal commencement of activities by the campaign council as the ruling party prepares for the 2027 presidential election.

Adeleke was recently appointed as the Osun State coordinator of the campaign council established to support President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term in office.

His appointment places him among the party officials and coordinators expected to mobilise support for Tinubu’s re-election campaign across the country.

The coordinators are expected to work towards strengthening the party’s support base and encouraging voters to back the president in the forthcoming election.

The inauguration of the campaign council is part of the APC’s preparations for the 2027 general election, with party leaders and other members expected to take up responsibilities ahead of the poll.
