2027: PDP Ogidi Ward Holds Mega rally, Expresses Confidence of Landslide Victory

Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogidi Ward, Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, on Sunday held a mega rally to mobilise support for the party and its candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The rally, which commenced from the Isale Guniyan area of Ilorin, attracted key party leaders, stakeholders and members from various polling units across the ward.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the rally, the PDP Ogidi Ward Chairman, Comrade Abdulmumeen Popoola, said the rally was organised to demonstrate and strengthen support for all the party’s candidates ahead of the forthcoming elections.

Popoola also said the rally was a demonstration of the ward’s confidence in the leadership of former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, stressing that members of the party in the ward remained committed to the PDP.

He expressed confidence that the PDP would secure victory in Ogidi Ward by a wide margin in the 2027 elections.

“We want to assure the leadership of the party that in 2027, we will deliver Ogidi Ward to the PDP,” Popoola said.

The ward chairman appreciated party members who turned out en masse for the rally, describing their large turnout as a demonstration of their commitment to the party.

He urged members to return to their respective polling units and sustain the mobilisation efforts by canvassing for support for the PDP and its candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
