2027: Kwara PDP Reps Candidate Bakare Gets Grassroots Stakeholders’ Support in Share

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency, Hon. Moshood Olanrewaju Bakare, has continued his grassroots consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections, engaging party members, community leaders, organised groups and other stakeholders in Share, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

During the visit, Bakare held a series of meetings with community groups, associations and PDP grassroots structures across the town, providing an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss issues affecting the community and the need for sustained grassroots engagement.

At the Share Town Hall, Bakare met with PDP members and commercial motorcycle riders, including the Chairman of the Okada Riders, Share Branch, Balogun Moshood Bamidele.

He subsequently visited the Share Branch Secretariat of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), where he engaged members of the union alongside its chairman, Prince Olarewaju Olabisi Olupako.

The PDP candidate also visited the Share Artisans Secretariat, where he interacted with members of the association in the presence of its chairman, Mallam Abdulganiyu Hammed.

As part of his engagements, Bakare paid a courtesy visit to the residence of the Balogun of Share, Alhaji Umar Oladipo Sanusi.

The community leader received Bakare and offered prayers and goodwill, while encouraging continued engagement with residents and grassroots stakeholders.

Bakare also attended the Jumu’ah prayers at the Share Central Mosque, where prayers were offered for him and the community by the Chief Imam.

The consultations continued with meetings with PDP members across Share Ward 1 and Ward 2, where Bakare interacted with party members and grassroots structures.

The engagements provided an avenue for stakeholders and party members to express their views and reaffirm their support for continued grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Bakare was accompanied by the Director-General of his Campaign Council, Alhaji Mustapha Kabir Olarewaju, and the PDP candidate for the Share/Oke-Ode Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Jogunola.

The Share visit forms part of Bakare’s wider consultations across Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun, as he continues to engage PDP members, organised groups, community leaders and residents ahead of the 2027 general elections.
