2027: Bakare Intensifies Grassroots Mobilisation in Offa, Oyun

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency, Hon. Moshood Olanrewaju Bakare, has intensified grassroots mobilisation and engagement with party stakeholders in Offa and Oyun Local Government Areas ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Bakare held separate meetings with PDP leaders and stakeholders at the party secretariats in Oyun and Offa, where discussions centred on strengthening the party’s grassroots structures, promoting unity and improving mobilisation across the constituency.

In Oyun, the engagement was attended by the local government PDP Chairman, Hon. Olatoke; a member of the PDP National Board of Trustees (BoT), Alhaji Jimoh Balogun; former member of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Alhaja Sikirat Anako; and other party stakeholders.

In Offa, Bakare met with party leaders and stakeholders led by the local government PDP Chairman, Hon. Jide Jatto.

During the engagements, Bakare called on party members to remain united, work collectively and accommodate new members as part of efforts to build a stronger and more inclusive grassroots structure.

He also pledged monthly support for the party’s wards to enable them to sustain their activities and strengthen their organisational capacity at the grassroots.

Bakare urged party leaders and members to remain focused on the collective interests of the people of Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun, stressing the importance of sustained grassroots engagement as the party prepares for the 2027 elections.
