Akpabio, Saraki, Seriki, Others Celebrate Saliu Mustapha at 54

Senate President Godswill Akpabio, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki Gambari, the Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) and the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) have felicitated Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, on his 54th birthday.

In his congratulatory message, Senate President Akpabio described Senator Mustapha as a distinguished member of the 10th Senate, acknowledging his contributions to the upper chamber and his service to the Nigerian people.

Akpabio wished the lawmaker greater wisdom, renewed strength, good health and many more years of impactful service.

“From all of us at the 10th Senate, we wish you a truly memorable birthday,” the Senate President said.

Former Senate President Bukola Saraki also congratulated Senator Mustapha, describing him as the Turaki of Ilorin and commending his responsiveness to the needs of the Ilorin Emirate.

“Whenever our Emirate calls, you always answer,” Saraki said, while praying Almighty Allah to grant Senator Mustapha good health and many more fruitful years in the service of the people.

Also, Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki Gambari, MFR, congratulated Senator Mustapha, describing him as a dedicated public servant, committed leader and patriotic son of Kwara State whose contributions to the development and progress of the people continue to be appreciated.

Yahaya Seriki commended Senator Mustapha for his dedication to the people of Kwara Central and his commitment to legislative responsibilities and public service.

He also acknowledged the Senator’s humility, accessibility and continued efforts toward advancing the interests and wellbeing of his constituents, while wishing him greater accomplishments in the years ahead.

Yahaya Seriki prayed that Almighty Allah would grant Senator Mustapha good health, wisdom, strength and many more years of meaningful service to humanity.

The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA), under the auspices of the Emir of Ilorin, also celebrated Senator Mustapha, describing him as a distinguished son of the Emirate, dedicated public servant, philanthropist and advocate of youth development and community progress.

In a statement jointly signed by its National President, Alhaji Mohammed Uthman Jagunmo, and National Director of Publicity, Alhaji Abdullahi Abdulfatahi Oloyin, IEYDA commended Senator Mustapha for his contributions to the development of Ilorin Emirate, Kwara Central and Kwara State.

The association particularly acknowledged his support for initiatives promoting education, youth empowerment, human development and the welfare of the people.

IEYDA prayed Almighty Allah to grant Senator Mustapha long life, sound health, wisdom and greater capacity to continue serving humanity, while also praying for peace, prosperity and enduring happiness for his household.

Also joining the birthday felicitations, the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) commended Senator Mustapha for what it described as his impactful representation of the people of Ilorin Emirate at the National Assembly.

In a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Suleiman Shuaib Dagbo, the IEDPU National President, Alhaji Abdulmumini Ayo Abdulmalik, described Senator Mustapha as a distinguished son of the Emirate who had continued to serve his constituents and the nation with humility and dedication.

The Union expressed appreciation for the quality of representation Senator Mustapha has provided at the National Assembly since his election in 2023.

“We are grateful for the impactful representation Senator Saliu Mustapha has continued to provide at the National Assembly. He has represented the people of Ilorin Emirate with humility, dedication and a strong sense of responsibility,” Abdulmalik said.

The IEDPU President, a retired Assistant Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, congratulated Senator Mustapha on attaining the age of 54 and wished him many more years of sound health and continued service to humanity.
