Kwara 2027: Gambari Community Goes Spiritual for Saliu Mustapha
The Gambari community in Ilorin East Local Government Area of Kwara State on Sunday organised a special prayer session in support of the governorship ambition of Senator Saliu Mustapha ahead of the 2027 elections.
The prayer session, which drew prominent religious leaders, community heads, and residents, was convened to seek divine guidance, success, and the peaceful realisation of Mustapha’s gubernatorial aspiration.
Leading the prayer session, Imam Maraba, Sheikh Muhammed Aliyu Olayinka Gbamragaji, emphasised the importance of collective supplication in achieving purposeful leadership.
He prayed for wisdom, strength, and divine favour for the senator as he prepares for the political journey ahead.
In his lecture at the event, Alfa Abdulkodir Omo Alubarika highlighted the need for the community to support credible and people-oriented leaders.
He noted that leadership rooted in service and compassion remains key to sustainable development.
The event concluded with special prayers for peace, unity, and progress in Kwara State as political activities gradually build up towards the 2027 general elections.
Senator Saliu Mustapha, who is the Turaki of Ilorin and lawmaker representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, is a leading aspirant for the governorship seat under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
