Hon. Aliyu Rasaq Opeyemi-Apaguntan (RAAF) has officially declared his intention to contest for the Share/Oke-Ode Constituency seat in the Kwara State House of Assembly under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

RAAF made the declaration on Thursday at an event held at the Share Town Hall, where supporters, party members, and community stakeholders gathered in large numbers.

Speaking during the event, he stated that his decision to join the race followed extensive consultations and appeals from elders, traditional leaders, women, youths, and other stakeholders who, according to him, desire responsible and people-oriented representation.

“I am committed to being a strong voice for the people of Share/Oke-Ode and to champion policies that will promote job creation, support farmers, and empower youths, as well as improve electricity and water supply in the constituency,” he said.

He added that his aspiration is driven by a genuine passion to serve and improve the welfare of the people.

RAAF, however, called on constituents to support his ambition with their prayers, cooperation, and active participation, assuring them of inclusive and effective representation if elected.
