APC Reopens Digital Membership Registration for Members, New Entrants
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the resumption of its electronic membership registration exercise across Nigeria.
In a statement issued in Abuja, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said the exercise will be conducted at ward levels and designated centres nationwide.
He urged existing members to update and validate their registration details, while also encouraging new members to take advantage of the opportunity to join the party.
According to the APC, individuals seeking registration must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
The party explained that the initiative is aimed at digitising its membership database, improving the accuracy of records, and enhancing access to data for planning and decision-making. It added that the move will also strengthen internal democracy and promote transparency.
Earlier, the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, noted that the party’s growing membership and electoral strength are driven by strong internal structures and the adoption of technology-based systems.
