Zulum gives employment to 15 PWDs in Borno

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, approved the employment of 15 people with disabilities (PWDs).
He announced this during a meeting with the Association of People Living With Disabilities at the Government House in Maiduguri, where he praised them for their commitment to education.
Zulum instructed the Commissioner of Education to process their employment applications, with the new hires set to join the government payroll by May 1, 2024.
He also directed an assessment of schools for the visually impaired and announced plans to include special education courses at the College of Education in Bama.
Muhammed Mustapha, chairman of the Borno chapter of the Nigerian Association for the Blind, thanked the governor for the job opportunities, saying it would improve their quality of life.
