The All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain, Alhaji Shuaibu Yaman Abdullahi has congratulated Muslim Ummah across the globe and especially Kwara State, Nigeria on the advent of 1442AH Ramadan Fasting.

In a press release through his media team, the Federal Commissioner For Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Alhaji Shuaibu Yaman emphasized the impact of Ramadan and enjoined Muslim faithfuls to uphold steadfastness, “let’s try to make God Happy by offering sincere prayers and observing fasts and reach to Him so he light up our heart and soul with the light of Emaan and Taqwa.”

Ramadan does not come to change our schedules. It comes to change our hearts. Free up your hearts from all types of sins and find the purity of heart and soul by fasting regularly in the upcoming Ramadan.

In this period, it is sacrosanct to extend charity to others as it would be a rewarding venture. As Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “He who gives iftar to another fasting person shall earn reward equivalent to a fasting man without detracting from the reward of the latter” (Nisai and Tirmidhi).

May Almighty Allah accept all the acts of worship as Ibaadah. May this year 2021 Ramadan brings peace and greatness unto us. Ramadan Mubarak.
