Alonso expressed gratitude towards the club’s support and emphasized his commitment to continue growing alongside the team.

While he had been linked with managerial roles at Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich, Alonso affirmed his dedication to Leverkusen, where he has guided the team to an impressive unbeaten streak and a potential Bundesliga title.
