Wizkid Releases ‘Piece of My Heart’ Featuring Brent Faiyaz
Grammy-winning artist Ayo Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has dropped “Piece of My Heart,” the debut single from his eagerly awaited album Morayo.
Featuring American R&B sensation Brent Faiyaz, the track arrived on October 18th, blending Afrobeats and R&B to explore themes of love and heartbreak.
Wizkid has been building anticipation for Morayo, his sixth studio album, which he dedicates to his late mother. He recently called it his best work yet in a post on X.
The album follows his successful collaboration on “MMS” with Asake. Just hours before the official release, Wizkid teased “Piece of My Heart” with a video snippet that gave fans a glimpse of the luxurious countryside mansion where the music video is set.
Coincidentally, Wizkid’s release comes alongside new tracks from Tiwa Savage and Ckay, with “Forgiveness” and “Emotions” respectively, setting the stage for an exciting day for Afrobeats and reggae enthusiasts.
