Wizkid Lights Up Soundstorm Festival in Saudi Arabia with Electrifying Performance

Wizkid delighted concertgoers in Saudi Arabia on Thursday night with an energetic performance at the Soundstorm festival.

The Grammy-winning Nigerian singer showcased his hit songs, including ‘Joro,’ ‘Mood,’ ‘Pakuromo,’ ‘Beat of Life (Samba),’ ‘Ginger,’ and ‘Energy (Stay Far Away),’ captivating the audience who enthusiastically sang along.

The festival featured a stellar lineup, including 50 Cent, Black Eyed Peas, Calvin Harris, Chris Brown, David Guetta, H.E.R., J Balvin, Martin Garrix, Travis Scott, Wiz Khalifa, Metallica, and Swedish House Mafia.

The music event, which began in Riyadh on Thursday, will conclude on December 16. Ayo Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, is a leading figure in African music, boasting a significant fanbase, numerous awards, and honorary mentions.

His latest full album, ‘More Love, Less Ego,’ was released on November 11, 2022. Despite hints of a five-year hiatus, he collaborated on songs with Rexxie and Wande Coal in 2023.

Last month, the multi-award-winning singer suggested that he might retire, stating he has produced enough music to consider taking a step back from the industry after releasing a new album.
