Nigerian Fuji sensation, Wasiu Alabi, better known as Pasuma, has shared the defining moment that propelled him into a successful music career. He recounted how a setback in his football ambitions led him to discover his passion for music.
Pasuma reminisced about his dream of representing Nigeria in the FIFA U-16 World Championship in 1985, which was dashed when he failed to make the national team. This disappointment redirected his focus towards music.
Reflecting on his omission from the victorious squad, Pasuma acknowledged the initial pain but appreciated how it led him to pursue music, ultimately resulting in a flourishing career.

“I decided to channel my energy into music and make a living out of it. Though it was painful initially, I am grateful for choosing music over football in the end.”
Pasuma highlighted the valuable lesson he learned about perseverance and transforming setbacks into opportunities for personal growth and success.
