We’ve long rescued APC from Mashood Mustapha – Alanamu ward Chair 

Mr. Babatunde Abubakar Tukur, the Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Alanamu ward of Ilorin west local government, Kwara State, has reacted to Hon. Mashood Mustapha’s Open letter to Governor Mall. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq about the Kwara Hotel remodeling. 

In a statement issued by the ward’s publicity secretary, Mr. Quadri Aseyanbi, Tukur labeled Mashood Mustapha as an outcast, clarifying that he is not a chieftain of the party in the ward.

The statement reads in part, “We find it expedient to speak to the shameless and moral deficient letter written by Hon Moshood Mustapha who claimed to have created heaven and earth, addressed to our amiable Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq 

In the first instance, if anybody should devise the word “Man is not God” it isn’t expected from the person of MM who over the time has placed himself above every other person as Generalissimo in his political homestead, who else has been acting like demigod’ if not him..

Hon MM claimed about birthing parallel structure in Alanamu ward prior to 2019 election is baseless and out of line.

For the record purposes, in the history of Kwara Political Struggle and  Alanamu being the giant electoral ward has  prominent political gladiators that were leading faces in the struggle for political emancipation in Kwara State rightly from the era of the likes of Alh  Salman Abdulrasheed Alada, Babatunde Alanamu of the (blessed memory) to  the excellent contributions of the likes of Alh Mustapha Kobe, Alh Mustapha Isowo and many others even when MM was one of the rodents in the deposed dynasty, MM bluffing pretence as a sole determinant of what happened in Alanamu and Ilorin West at large is borne out of his supercilious manner.

It is evident that Hon MM is an ingrate to himself and displayed highest level of insincerity because he failed to tell the public how well he enjoyed patronage in term of appointments distribution to his kinsmen alone from the same Governor he is disparaging today, what did he do in return when the time came to repay; anti-party activities, bile and unguarded utterances to the  person of the Governor who valued you beyond your price.

It is not out of word to say that MM is a divisionary leader for most of his styles are to always finance dissent group that will cause chaos and confusion whenever political scheming is out of his fingers..

Do we still need to narrate his act of insincerity towards the party he claimed to be a Chieftain of, he flagrantly abandoned his party and pitched tent with the main opposition party, his appearance at the Kogi State Presidential rally was not a mistake and in its worst form, he instructed his loyalists to vote against the candidates of our party and despite that, the party recorded impressive results and that shows that you Hon. Moshood Mustapha is just an empty vessel; then how do you want to dubiously eat from the struggle you failed to partake in..

For the unsuspected public that have come across his arrogant letter, he stands the right as a citizen to wail because of his unsuccessful attempt to lay his hand into the wealth of the state through his incompetent Crystal Group but he should stop christening himself with the word APC Chieftain from Alanamu ward because we have rescued the party from him and he has since been suspended from our party.”
