We’ve brought politics into religion – Oluremi Tinubu laments
Oluremi Tinubu has expressed her concerns about the infusion of politics into religion.
Speaking during a welcome address to the Women Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (WOWICAN) in Abuja, the First Lady encouraged religious leaders to uphold values of discipline, love, and the fear of God.
She emphasized that Christianity is rooted in love, meekness, and tolerance, which should be extended to people of all backgrounds, irrespective of their religion, faith, race, ethnicity, or social status.
She stressed the importance of respecting and loving our neighbors and underlined the need to prepare the younger generation for a promising future.
Furthermore, she affirmed her commitment to leading with a strong sense of God’s fear and expressed her dedication to building a better Nigeria, her home country.
