We’ll Bounce Back – Super Eagles Coach, Finidi
Nigeria coach Finidi George is confident his team will recover in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers despite a three-match winless streak.
Nigeria drew 1-1 at home against South Africa, placing them fifth in Group C with three points.
Lesotho leads with five points. Finidi believes the team can still qualify and is focused on their next match against Benin.
He became head coach in April after Nigeria’s poor start to the qualifiers and AFCON final loss.
The Super Eagles aim to kickstart their campaign in Abidjan on Monday before the qualifiers pause until March 2025.
