Vice President Kashim Shettima has urged Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration, explaining that removing fuel subsidies and reforming currency policies will help revive the country’s economy.
Speaking at an event in Abuja, Shettima said these tough choices were needed to address Nigeria’s struggling economy and reduce debt.
He mentioned that the government is focusing on diversifying the economy and fighting currency manipulation.
He acknowledged the impact of these decisions on citizens but assured them that these sacrifices will lead to significant economic growth and stability in the near future.
