Vinicius Junior Receives Two-Match Ban After Red Card

Real Madrid’s winger, Vinicius Junior, has been handed a two-match suspension in La Liga following his red card during last week’s game against Valencia.
The incident occurred when the Brazilian reacted to a push from Valencia’s goalkeeper, Stole Dimitrievski, by shoving him in the back of the neck. Despite Vinicius’ dismissal, Real Madrid managed to secure a 2-1 comeback victory, moving them to the top of the league table.
As a result of the ban, Vinicius will miss league clashes against Las Palmas and Real Valladolid. However, he remains eligible to participate in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Mallorca on Thursday in Saudi Arabia.
