Victor Boniface involved in car accident

Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface was involved in a car accident in Germany on Saturday night, shortly after playing a key role in Bayer Leverkusen’s 2-1 win against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, where he scored the decisive goal.
The 23-year-old sustained minor injuries in the crash and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.
A video shared on X (formerly Twitter) revealed significant damage to the front passenger side of his car.
Boniface posted a photo of himself receiving medical care, accompanied by a message expressing gratitude to God: “Na so una for hear say my enemy don die. Thank you, Lord,” wrote the striker, who hails from Akure.
Boniface has been a standout performer for Bayer Leverkusen this season, netting seven goals and registering one assist across all competitions.
He was also among the Super Eagles players delayed for over 16 hours at a Libyan airport last week.
