Victor Boniface Dismisses Breakup Rumors with Norwegian Girlfriend
Super Eagles forward, Victor Boniface, has dismissed rumors of a breakup with his Norwegian girlfriend, Rikke Hermine, labeling the reports as “fake.”
In recent days, social media was abuzz with claims that the Bayer Leverkusen star and the influencer ended their relationship over alleged disagreements about legal marriage and a prenuptial agreement.
However, Boniface swiftly debunked the story in a now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter), where he wrote partly in Pidgin English:
“Stop posting fake things you guys know nothing about. People will just pick their phones and post without verification. Not everyone is like your sister. So, respect yourself. Everything you guys say about her is all lies.”
Boniface remains a key player for Bayer Leverkusen, contributing significantly to their unbeaten Bundesliga campaign that also saw them clinch the German Cup. The striker continues to play a pivotal role under coach Xabi Alonso and is expected to feature for Nigeria when the 2026 World Cup qualifiers resume in March.
