Scores of individuals, who fell victim to recent bandit attacks in Plateau State, have undergone mass burials.

These attacks targeted various communities in Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi Local Government Areas, resulting in numerous casualties.

Solomon Mwantiri, leading the Berom Youth Moulders-Association, strongly condemned the assaults that occurred in several villages on Christmas Eve.

The affected areas, including Ruku, Hurum, Darwat, Mai Yanga Sabo, NTV villages in Gashish, and Ropp Districts, witnessed varying numbers of casualties.

Notably, Bokkos LGA faced the highest toll, surpassing 40 deaths, along with significant injuries, food looting, and property destruction.
