UNILORIN Screens 16,097 Candidates for 2024 Post-UTME
Prof. Kamil Rauf, Director of the University of Ilorin’s Computer-Based Testing Centre, announced on Monday that 16,097 candidates participated in the institution’s 2024 Post-UTME screening.
Rauf expressed satisfaction with the smooth execution of the screening, crediting the successful conduct to the university’s thorough preparations and resource allocation.
“The success of the exercise is attributed to the material and human resources support provided by the management,” he said. “We also utilized advanced technological innovations implemented by the institution during the screening.”
He highlighted that the enhanced infrastructure at the CBT Centre has positively influenced the university’s internal examinations, including departmental, Institute of Education, Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CODL), remedial, and Post-UTME screenings.
Rauf mentioned that the University of Ilorin also serves as a venue for various external examinations, such as those for the police, pension services, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, Nursing Council of Nigeria, and Agricultural Council of Nigeria.
However, Rauf did not disclose the number of candidates who will be admitted for the 2024/2025 academic session, stating he would provide this information once a decision has been made.
