Bukayo Saka delivered a stellar performance, scoring twice to propel Arsenal to a dominant 3-0 victory over Monaco in their UEFA Champions League (UCL) clash at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.

The England star proved instrumental as the Gunners controlled the game from start to finish. Despite missing several chances, including a notable miss by Gabriel Jesus, Arsenal managed to secure a convincing win. Saka opened the scoring just before halftime, converting a precise pass from Myles Lewis-Skelly.

After the break, both teams missed opportunities, but Saka capitalized on a goalkeeping error in the 78th minute to double Arsenal’s lead. Substitute Kai Havertz added the final goal, ensuring a comprehensive victory that brings Arsenal closer to a round-of-16 spot. They now sit third in their group with 13 points from six games.

Meanwhile, it was a night to forget for Manchester City, as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Juventus. Goals from Dusan Vlahovic and Weston McKennie condemned City to their third consecutive UCL game without a win. With just eight points from six matches, City are now 22nd on the overall UCL standings and at risk of early elimination with two matches remaining.

Elsewhere, Barcelona edged Borussia Dortmund 3-2, with Ferran Torres scoring the decisive goal for the visitors.

In other matches, Nigeria’s Samuel Chukwueze featured as a first-half substitute in AC Milan’s 2-1 victory over Red Star Belgrade, while his compatriot Victor Olatunji was an unused substitute in Sparta Prague’s 4-2 loss to Feyenoord.
