TRENDING: Nigerian Man in Tears as DNA Tests reveal Non-Biological Connection to His Four Children
Mr. Kolawole, from Ikire in Osun State, shared these four children with his wife, Mrs. Tella Toyin—Ayomide, 16, Sarah, 12, and two younger children, aged 8 and 5, respectively.
A video that circulated widely shows a 44-year-old Nigerian man, identified as Mr. Olanrewaju Kolawole, breaking down in tears as he revealed the distressing discovery from DNA tests: none of his four children are biologically his own.
Mr. Kolawole, from Ikire in Osun State, shared these four children with his wife, Mrs. Tella Toyin—Ayomide, 16, Sarah, 12, and two younger children, aged 8 and 5, respectively.
The issue of paternity fraud came to light during their appearance on the popular radio show ‘Kokoro Alate’ on Agidigbo FM, Ibadan, hosted by Oriyomi Hamzat.
Initially conducting a DNA test on the first child, which revealed non-paternity, Mr. Kolawole subsequently tested the remaining three children, all producing similarly negative results.
Expressing his distress, Mr. Kolawole sought support, stating, “I want Nigerians to come to my rescue because I must not suffer this in vain. I married Toyin in 2007 and had four children with her.
However, none of them are mine, as confirmed by the DNA tests.”
When asked about the motive for the tests, he explained that his decision arose from observing suspicious behaviors from his wife, prompting him to verify the children’s parentage.
The DNA tests were carried out at the DDC DNA Diagnostic Center in Osogbo.
In response, Mrs. Tella Toyin refuted the results, citing her absence during the sample collection and claiming ignorance about which samples were taken.
She voiced her disbelief, stating, “I can’t accept the result. I wasn’t present during sample collection, and I don’t know which samples were taken, so I can’t accept it. I know how I conceived those children, and I can’t believe this.”
The couple, married in 2007 and active members of their church choir group in the Ikoyi area of Osun State, have been impacted by this revelation.
