Tinubu’s Minister Survives Plane Crash as Jet Makes Emergency Landing in Ibadan
The incident occurred on Friday night after the aircraft, departing from Abuja, crash-landed near the airport’s runway at around 10 p.m., veering into the surrounding bush.

The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, narrowly avoided a fatal accident when a private jet operated by Flint Aero crash-landed at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The incident occurred on Friday night after the aircraft, departing from Abuja, crash-landed near the airport’s runway at around 10 p.m., veering into the surrounding bush.
A security official at the airport, requesting anonymity, confirmed the event to Channels Television on Saturday, explaining that during the landing, the aircraft swerved off the runway, resulting in the crash into the adjacent bush.
Reportedly, only the pilot and the Minister of Power were on board, with no fatalities but significant damage to the aircraft.
The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) has initiated an inquiry into the accident’s cause.
