A former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo, has claimed that the federal government led by President Bola Tinubu is the most disappointing.
In a widely circulated video on Wednesday, Asari expressed the discontent of some Niger Delta people, particularly the Ijaw ethnic group, towards the current administration.
Despite being a strong supporter of Tinubu and the APC during the elections, Asari regretted assuring the Ijaw people that the government would excel.
He now contends that the present situation reveals the Tinubu administration as a source of distress for the Ijaw community.
Asari sees the political turmoil in Rivers State as a crucial test for President Tinubu’s leadership, predicting that any repercussions of alleged misgovernance would likely begin in Rivers State.
He emphasized that the dissatisfaction with the government is widespread among Ijaw people, labeling it as the worst they have experienced.
